Benjy’s best friend, Mike, is a friend of mine. Mike reached out to Devin & I on a Friday morning about Benjy proposing to his girlfriend, Lauren, that evening & wanting us to photograph it. Luckily, we just so happened to still be available!
Benjy planned a dinner with friends at Hotel Madrid in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He strategically planned to grab a beer with Lauren beforehand and to arrive at the restaurant about 30 minutes before the reservation. Amelia & the team at Hotel Madrid set up a little table in the outdoor eating section with these flowers & the ring set inside. Once they arrived, she walked them out for “cocktails” to wait for the rest of their party. Benjy immediately found the ring and got down on one knee! It was so sweet & adorable to photograph these two in this moment!
