FIRST OF ALL - WELCOME!
We are so excited to share this exciting news and our journey with all of you. As some of you may know, we got engaged in August of 2016 under a gorgeous waterfall in Big Sur, California. We always knew that the day would come when we would change our business name (since Katie Guth is becoming Katie DeGroot among other reasons!), and we're thrilled that this day has finally arrived! So, here we are, formally introducing you to DeGroot Film Co.! :)
We worked long and hard to build our new brand and website, catering to the style and wedding vibes that we can't get enough of. It has been a long journey together starting with just wedding photography and then beginning to offer videography as well. We have traveled the country together capturing precious moments for so many love stories. You guys give us life!
So, we want to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for following our journey and for always supporting us! With that being said, we're offering a wedding photography OR videography giveaway as well as a glam squad session giveaway for those of you not currently planning a wedding. We are so stoked to be giving back! We are always so honored and blessed by our amazing clients that it makes it so much more meaningful to give back each year. To make this giveaway extra special, we're partnering with Krista of Weddings With a Twist who is an amazing wedding planner! We are always ecstatic to work with Krista and other creatives in the industry who love giving back as well!
And guess what? The wedding can take place anywhere in the world! If it's outside of Southeast Wisconsin, all you have to pay is travel fees.

The Official Rules for the DeGroot Film Co. wedding photography OR videography giveaway:
You must be 18 years or older to enter.
By entering this contest, you agree to pay for all travel expenses for DeGroot Film Co. & Weddings With a Twist if you are selected as the winner, if your wedding is greater than 40 miles from us in 53189.
Couples who have already booked with DeGroot Film Co. are not eligible for this contest.
You cannot already be in contract with another photographer or videographer (whichever you're entering for).
Winners will be selected based on availability of DeGroot Film Co. & Weddings With A Twist.
The winners will be notified by the email address provided and we will announce on our social media platforms by May 17th.
If the winning couple cannot or will not claim their prize within 2 days, the prize will be awarded to another couple.
A contract with DeGroot Film Co. & Weddings With A Twist must be signed and returned within 1 weeks of winning, along with any travel expenses.
Only one couple will be awarded the grand prize, with 6 hours of coverage of professional photography OR videography on their wedding date, a web gallery, and a print release. They will also be awarded day of coordinating with Weddings With A Twist. The value of this package is $4,000.
This giveaway prize cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash or any other item or service. The giveaway cannot be combined with any other offer.
The winning couple agrees to be featured on www.degrootfilmco.com, and on any other publication that DeGroot Film Co. submits to. The names and images of the winning couple will be used by DeGroot Film Co. for promotional purposes.

What the heck is a glam squad session? We're partnering with Dana Welch of D.Welch Hair & Makeup to glam you up for a session with complimentary hair and makeup! We will all work together to plan a date that works in the Waukesha, Wisconsin area.
Open to families, couples, maternity, etc.
