Well, here we are - pregnant in the middle of all of the COVID-19 drama! We obviously never imagined our first and likely only pregnancy going this way.. canceled baby shower, no one else at the hospital with us, no help at home with the new baby, possibly no one getting to hold our little guy until his immune system gets stronger, etc.
BUT we are enjoying the extra time we are getting with just each other! How special that this has forced us to slow down, work from home and just take in these last moments of it just being us two. It’s crazy to think that our “alone time” will never really be the same. Since I’ve been caught up on editing, I’ve been fully nesting and creating a beautiful nursery. We also took the time last week to stop working, get ready and take some maternity self-portraits to remember these times.
This little dude is already SO loved! He is wiggling around in my belly as I write this. <3
