California Road Trip | Big Sur, Carmel, Monterey Photographer

As we mentioned in our Colorado Road trip post, we went back out to Colorado in September. We drove home on a Friday (16 hour drive), did laundry and got in some kitty cuddles on Saturday, then on Sunday we were off to California to photograph and film a last minute elopement in Carmel by the Sea / Big Sur!

As some of you might know, we have had the incredible opportunity to frequently travel to the Big Sur area. We absolutely love it and we actually almost moved there a little over a year ago. There is always so much to explore and lets be honest - The ocean and sunsets don't get old! ;)

Colorado Engagement | Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Session

Due to getting sick in Colorado in July, Devin and I were unable to take the photos of ourselves that we wanted to. I had bought a beautiful flowy dress from Lulus and planned to have my hair and makeup done by the wonderful Rogue Beauty. 

Luckily though, we had planned to do some work for our wedding venue, so we were able to road trip back out to Colorado in September! We stayed at Estes Park Condos (our wedding venue) and ended up doing our engagement shoot in the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park. 

It was unbelievably windy that day! We had a blast (I'm not sure that's what Devin would call it though) running to and from the car to warm up and setting up shots. The wind was just an excuse to get extra cuddly though! ;)
